The project for building a member database
Rumplík, Martin ; Krč, Petr (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The object of this bachelor's thesis is to create a design of database for needs of a civil association Cyrilek.net. The objective of this database is to cover all registration processes in frame of this organization, which deal especially with filling personal information and notes about installed hardware. An user interface for access to the database will be also designed and partially realized in form of information system, which will be accessible through web browser.
Platform for Mobile Agents in Wireless Sensor Networks
Horáček, Jan ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This work deals with implementation of an agent platform, which is able to run agent code in wireless sensor networks. Implementation has been done for MICAz platform, which uses TinyOS operating system for developing applications. This work contains list of chosen TinyOS parts and illustrates, how such a platform can be used for our purposes. We will describe main features of ALLL language and we will also demonstrate some examples of agents.
Mechanisms of QoS assurance in fixed, wireless and mobile data networks
Václavek, Radovan ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Molnár, Karol (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with mapping technologies and base parameters used to guarantee the quality of systems in the local area networks, including wireless and mobile ones. I have focused mainly on requests and classifications, which are typical for the types of networks on link layer. In Ethernet I focused on the gradual trends in the fore mentioned technologies and IEEE 802.1Q and connected IEEE 802.1p standards included. The next part describes the quality of systems in wireless nets in different types of environments and again uses given standards for quality of systems guarantee in 802.11e and connected 802.11a/b/g standards. The next part focuses on the latest generations of mobile nets, looking at the types and trends of the latest technologies. Here I draw from standard project 3GPP, which describes the problems with these technological developments. The next part focuses on WiMAX technologies. In the penultimate paragraph, the constituent network technologies are compared from the view of securing QoS and I propound possible ways of securing coversion of constituent technologies. The conclusion summarises all the technologies I have mentioned and the future trends including possible problems and challenges with these latest technologies.
Family House Computer Network Design
Kuchařík, Lukáš ; Košťál, Lubor (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design of computer networks for a family house. The main task will be to draft a newly built computer network based on the requirements of the owner. Try to find the best solution for handling network so that the best fit to the object.
Wireless Network
Vincour, Jan ; Popelka, Dušan (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The focus of this Bachalor`s thesis is the design and realization of the wireless network in the company LINDEN s.r.o. The goal is to extend the current WiFi coverage to the entire company and fulfill the company`s requirements on the network availability and security.
Device Location in Wireless Network
Szabó, Peter ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Kačic, Matej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of locating devices in wireless networks. It takes existing solutions as example and extends them using additional approaches. This thesis designs and describes the implementation of a prototype of a new proprietary indoor localization system used for locating devices within a WiFi network. In the final part of the thesis the testing of this system is described and its results are analysed and compared with another localization systems based on similar technologies.
Optimization of hand-over process in real network environment
Hornyak, Tomáš ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Molnár, Karol (advisor)
This Master´s thesis deals especially with exploration of the handover process and with searching for ways of in?uencing this process. The goal of this thesis is to create tools for recording of access point utilization and in?uence the handover of wireless clients based on the obtained data. An access point with open ?rmware, which allows low-level management, was necessary for practical tests. First chapter deals with a survey of current o?er of open ?rmware available for access points and then the appropriate candidate for this thesis is chosen – the OpenWRT project. Second chapter deals with the con?guration of OpenWRT system and basic settings of the chosen wireless router – TP-Link TL-WR1043ND. Next chapter deals with analysis of the handover process in wireless networks. Information obtained by this analysis is used during the creation of the graphic application. The fourth chapter presents the basics of Microsoft Native Wi-Fi API and introduces basic functions used by this API. Those functions were used during the creations of the application. Last two chapters present the created graphic application. The ?fth chapter deals with the application design and examination of its functionality and used functions. Last chapter then documents usability of the application in real environment.
Multimedial Home Computer Network Design
Herman, Jaromír ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is to design a computer network for multimedial home on the basis of the investor’s requirements. The bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. The first part provides with various possibilities of the computer network design in theory. The second part summarizes an analysis of the current network in its inconvenient state. The last part presents the realization of the particular design itself. The bachelor thesis also contains the project costing and the project drawing documentary materials.
Remote Temperature Sensing
Novák, Jan ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with wireless sensor network and temperature sensors with aim to design and implement remote temperature sensing central based on mesh topology. This paper discuss components of board modules, their function, and principles of RF PCB design. It describes the development tools and application displaying measured values.
Modern trends in Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 networks security
Lieskovan, Tomáš ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Endrle, Pavel (advisor)
This work treats the matters of wireless networks, Wi-Fi. The paper describes the various principles of coding, such as WEP, WPA and WPA2. At first the WEP security method is analyzed with the view of the fact that it doesn´t meet contemporary safety requirements, further its successor WPA, namely TKIP and AES authentication methods, and last but not least WPA2 which nowadays serve as a safety standard. The work assesses the safety risks of individual security methods and makes several recommendations to achieve maximum security for wireless networks. In the work a commercially available hardware and for free dissemination available software (Open Source) are used.
